Ark Alexandra Academy and Ark Charter Academy, Portsmouth, came together for the first ever Southern Sports Hall Athletics event. A team of 35 students from year 7-9 travelled to the University of Sussex, Falmer, on Thursday 2nd May to take part.
Our students showed grit and determination as they moved through a series of physical tests, encompassing running, jumping and throwing events. Their dedication and focus led us to an overall win against our opponents. Stand out performances came from Joey (yr7) who won every event, Carrington (yr8) for an awesome shot put, Harvey (yr9) and Sophie (yr8) who stormed their way to victory in the individual sprint races.
