Mr Mallion and Mr Wales have completed an extraordinary endurance challenge, helping to raise more than £2,000 for disadvantaged children and young people supported by Hastings Community Trust.
Last weekend, they were part of a team that completed an incredible 260-kilometre challenge from Norfolk to Hastings. The team worked together to cover the distance and raise funds for the youth organisation where both teachers volunteer their time to support local young people.
Mr Mallion completed an impressive 102 kilometres during the event, while Mr Wales ran 90 kilometres, with both pushing themselves through what they described as the toughest physical challenge they have ever undertaken.
Despite the demanding nature of the run, both teachers said the knowledge that they were raising money for disadvantaged children and young people kept them motivated throughout the weekend.
The challenge has already raised more than £2,000, with donations continuing to come in. The funds will help Hastings Community Trust continue its valuable work supporting local children and families.
Mr Mallion and Mr Wales would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who has supported, encouraged and donated to the challenge.
Their achievement reflects not only incredible determination and resilience but also a deep commitment to supporting the local community beyond the classroom.
