She started her day with the Sixth Form discussing all areas of Uni life, and post-Uni in the world of work. Having excelled in her Uni course and gaining a first-class degree in Dance, Ellie continues as a professional dancer and teacher. Our congratulations go out to her for the incredible recent position of Company Director for The Place Youth Dance Company “Shuffle”.
Ellie also conducted a fantastic Dance Workshop at William Parker involving students from Yr8 and 9. The students also attended a Q&A session at the end of the workshop in which they were able to ask Ellie about her life and how she became a professional. She expressed her love of her school life and how it inspired her to follow her passion for Dance.
Ellie said “The students were incredible, so focussed, and they applied themselves with great energy and enthusiasm. I can not believe that we finished a completed choreography in such a short time; all credit to the students and their wonderful commitment”.
