They learnt new repertoire, created their own song, and witnessed various performances throughout the day. All of this was to set in motion the preparation for the Ark Music Gala, which will take place on 2nd July at the Barbican Hall (home of the London Symphony Orchestra). We intend to take singers from both sites to participate in this event that celebrates the wonderful music being produced in Ark schools.
Well done to all who took part - many staff at the event commented on how lovely our Ark Alexandra students were and they were very appreciative of their enthusiasm throughout the day!
If you are interested in joining choir then come along to a rehearsal - we've only just started looking at songs for the Gala, so it isn't too late to join.
