"After receiving an unexpected email informing me of my nomination to attend a royal garden party, I underwent a thorough vetting and security process before finally receiving my tickets. My nomination was in recognition of the work I had done with the academy cadets over the years, although I remained unaware of who had put me forward.
On Tuesday, 20th May, I had the privilege of walking through the gates of Buckingham Palace to attend the King’s Royal Garden Party. It was an incredible honour to be part of the event, celebrating my dedication to supporting young people. The experience was unforgettable—I relished the live bands and indulged in beautifully crafted cakes and sandwiches. Seeing members of the Royal Family up close and engaging in conversations with fascinating individuals made the occasion even more special.
I feel immense pride in working with such outstanding students who have become cadets at the academy, and this event was a wonderful acknowledgement of that journey."
