Pupils received their own scholars kit on arrival and were placed into groups by school year with pupils from other Ark schools across the network.
The day included a variety of sessions led by coaches from professional clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, with the backdrop of the Wembley arch as they trained! Pupils worked on their skills and match play, as well as taking part in a strength and conditioning session that professional footballers would complete.
Jameela was nominated Scholar of the Day by the coaches, and it was noted and praised by the organisers that our pupils all shook hands and thanked the coaches at the end of the session.
We are incredibly proud of those who took part in the long day, and pupils now look forward to the second session coming up very soon.
