The purpose of student leadership at Ark Alexandra
- To ensure that the views and opinions of every student are taken into account when key school decisions are made
- To ensure that students play an active part as we build an excellent school
- To enable students to support their peers as they navigate their educational journeys, fostering relationships within our community
Through a rigorous selection process, students will have opportunities to:
- receive leadership training
- volunteer and help at school events
- mentor and support other students in our community
- complete duties
- participate in student voice meetings

Student Librarians 2025-26
The student librarian team is a team of KS3 and KS4 students who will support in the running of the library during lunchtimes. They will help to support our librarian with tidying displays, issuing books, and support with helping organise thematic events in the library, such a World Book Day and Black History Month.
The student librarian team will also organise and lead termly inter-house competitions among students within the library. This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate skills in leadership, communication and team-building.
