Ark Alexandra Academy is proud to announce an exciting new international partnership with Huntingdon Jui Junior and Senior Secondary Schools, developed through the long-standing Hastings–Sierra Leone Friendship Link.
This meaningful collaboration aims to give students a deeper understanding of life in another country, while exploring global similarities and differences and building lasting connections across continents.
The partnership was recently introduced to students during a visit from Isobel, who delivered an engaging presentation at William Parker campus. She shared insights into life and education in Sierra Leone, as well as the inspiring initiatives taking place within partner schools. These include school farm projects, environmental work such as recycling and tree planting, and opportunities for both students and staff to collaborate and share learning experiences.
The presentation sparked great interest and enthusiasm among students, many of whom were eager to learn more about the culture, challenges, and opportunities within Sierra Leone.
This partnership marks the beginning of an exciting journey for Ark Alexandra Academy, as it looks to develop shared projects that will benefit both communities while fostering global awareness, empathy, and collaboration.
