We were delighted to welcome the Create Music team to both Ark Alexandra campuses recently, inspiring our new Year 7 students with an exciting introduction to the musical opportunities available in school!
Our Year 7s enjoyed listening to a fantastic range of musical styles, from classical to heavy metal, while the Create Music team expertly demonstrated a variety of instruments.
And the opportunities aren't just for Year 7! Students in ALL year groups can get involved with instrumental and vocal lessons at Ark Alexandra. Whether you're already a musician or have always fancied giving an instrument a go, we'd love to see more of our students discovering the joy of music.
Music can inspire creativity and self-expression, build confidence, create connections and help develop the ability to perform under pressure, but most importantly, music brings joy!
Instrument hire is FREE
Funding is available for lessons where needed
Lessons are available to students across all year groups
To find out more and sign up for lessons, visit Create Music – Lessons at School or speak to Mr Reeve, Head of Music.
We'd love to see even more of our pupils picking up an instrument, finding their voice and experiencing the joy of music here at Ark Alexandra!
