Alongside their teachers Elaine Vanner and Niall Whitehead, with Ed Clarke on camera, the Dance and Drama students spent a day in the gallery devising performing arts work within a site-specific environment.
The exhibition is a powerful reflection of the artist’s experiences of living in Iraq, featuring abandoned interiors, claustrophobic landscapes and haunting depictions of space, memories and shadows.
The students created work with maturity and professionalism to produce an outstanding film in just one day.
Thank you to the Dela Warr Pavilion and to Mohammed Sami.
