This half term, Hastings played host to its famous ‘Fat Tuesday’ music festival, a lively celebration of local talent and homegrown music.
On Saturday 14 February 2026, Mila wowed audiences across the Old Town, performing with the Fat Tuesday Club, a vibrant band of young musicians aged 13–18. Joining her was Sam Rodrigues, an accomplished former student of Ark Alexandra Academy, adding extra flair to the performances.
The group kicked off their first set at the Jenny Lind, packed with enthusiastic festival-goers. Mila’s performance was amazing, with an original song that impressed both the audience and fellow musicians alike. Her energy, confidence, and creativity highlighted the incredible talent coming out of Hastings’ local music scene.
