With spring finally upon us and the daffodils in full bloom, Ark Alexandra’s Compass Garden has officially opened for the year, launching an exciting three‑term gardening project for students.
Students have wasted no time rolling up their sleeves, diving into tasks such as weeding, turning over garden beds, preparing seed trays, and even beginning the construction of a new greenhouse. Over the coming terms, they will explore how to plant and nurture a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and sensory plants, creating a garden designed to be a calming and engaging space for all.
The project offers students hands-on learning in horticulture, sustainability, and teamwork, while giving the community a chance to enjoy a vibrant, welcoming green space. Regular updates on the garden’s progress will be shared throughout the year, offering a glimpse into the growth and creativity of the students behind Compass Garden.
Spring has never looked so inspiring!
