On Tuesday, the cadets were lucky to welcome Darren Jackson who is the regional fundraising coordinator for Combat Stress charity at their weekly parade and training session.
Darren visited the school in recognition of the cadet’s tremendous effort and achievement of the in raising over £8500 on their now annual March in March. This exceeded last year's effort and everyone who took part was awarded a medal for their part in this.
Captain Burchell spoke to the cadets along with Darren to acknowledge their fantastic effort and determination to complete the walk, and to recognise and explain how the money raised would support veterans with mental health concerns.
Everyone is looking forward to next year's March, and hoping for better weather.
