This week the Junior Cadets got an opportunity to cook army rations and then taste the food. For many this was the first time they had eaten rations, with a range of choices and meals they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Ably supported by year 8 Cadets who formed part of the Junior Cadets training team, every Junior Cadet was able to look at a 24-hour ration pack and plan their meal choices for a day in the field. This week the Junior Cadets were given joining forms for next year where they can wear uniform to school and be a full Cadet.
