The cadets’ summer camp was an action-packed, skill-building experience designed to challenge participants both physically and mentally. Through a diverse range of adventurous and tactical activities, cadets developed essential life skills including teamwork, resilience, leadership, and survival—all within a supportive and structured environment.
Activities and Skills Gained
1. Axe Throwing
Skills: Focus, hand-eye coordination, safety awareness
Cadets learned proper throwing techniques and safety protocols in a fun, competitive setting.
2. Archery
Skills: Precision, patience, concentration
Participants practiced aiming and shooting, improving accuracy and control.
3. Survival Skills
Skills: Bushcraft, shelter building, fire lighting, resourcefulness
Cadets learned to survive in the wild with minimal equipment, boosting confidence and independence.
4. First Aid
Skills: Emergency response, CPR, wound care, teamwork
Hands-on sessions prepared cadets to respond calmly and effectively to injuries and emergencies.
5. Rock Climbing
Skills: Physical strength, problem-solving, trust
Cadets tackled climbing walls and natural rock faces, learning to overcome fear and support each other.
6. Mountain Biking
Skills: Endurance, balance, trail awareness
Guided rides across varied terrain built stamina and confidence.
7. Paddle Boarding
Skills: Balance, coordination, water safety
On calm waters, cadets developed core strength and relaxation through paddle boarding.
8. TIBUA (Training in Built-Up Areas)
Skills: Teamwork, confidence, communication
Cadets worked in teams to enter defended buildings, clear rooms, and neutralize threats with minimal casualties.
9. Ambush Skills
Skills: Stealth, communication, tactical awareness
Cadets practiced silent movement, ambush setup, and unit coordination in simulated scenarios.
10. Advance to Contact Training
Skills: Leadership, coordination, combat tactics
This military-style exercise taught cadets to approach and engage targets while maintaining discipline and formation.
Cadets also spent a night in the field—building shelters, cooking meals, and sleeping outdoors—further enhancing their self-reliance and adaptability.
Final Day Competitions and Achievements
To cap off the week, all participating schools competed in six team challenges based on the week’s activities. We were thrilled when our cadets medalled in three events:

- 🥈 Silver in Archery
