The cadets from Ark Alexandra Academy have been involved in planting trees working with the Woodland Trust to create more areas of woodland and create a conservation area on the Parker Campus. 400 trees and hedging plants were planted and it is hoped that over time this area will provide a place where students can carry out research and lessons to investigate the impact of their planting on the soil, vegetation and nature.
