The 43 cadets who took part in the Combat Stress Challenge walking 13 miles and raising over £8500 for the veterans charity had a visit from the charities Regional Fundraiser for the South and Northern Ireland, Darren Jackson. He came to meet the cadets and to give a talk and present certificates and medals for their amazing achievement. Darren explained how the money gets spent on the veterans and what impact on people’s lives their fundraising will have. He then stayed and was photographed with the cadets. Now some of the cadets want to take on the 100-mile challenge for May for the Combat Stress charity.
