On Saturday morning, six of our Sixth Form students ventured to Dartmoor with Mr Burchell and Miss Clark for their Gold Duke Of Edinburgh practise. The weather was against them from the minute the journey started, but they didn’t let this put them off. The rain continued throughout the day, and the next morning, but they pushed through and were lucky to see numerous rainbows.
Dartmoor didn’t disappoint with amazing views, and has certainly given the students lots to think about to ensure they are fully prepared for their actual expedition which will be happening in October.
