Year 10 Geography students had a fantastic time completing their compulsory fieldwork element of the course. Students considered the impacts of erosion to our coast and were able to confirm that processes such as longshore drift do exist in Hastings. They also considered the impacts of regeneration to our town, using visual surveys to assess the environmental quality of various parts of the town centre. In addition, they needed to strap on their brave boots and interview members of the public on their opinions about the town!It was such a pleasure to see the students working outside of a classroom with maturity and purpose. We even had compliments from the public about how polite and engaging our students were. Well done year 10 Geographers, and thank you for a great few days.
