After an indoor session last week, the Junior Cadets supported by the Junior Cadet Training Team went outside to put the theory into practice. Cadets in teams spent time wearing some cadet clothing, camouflaging themselves up. They considered some of the key aspects of shape, shine and silhouette when putting on appropriate camouflage materials and then were judged by their peers as to how effective it was. They really enjoyed the session with many travelling home with varying degrees of camouflage cream still on their faces. Next week they will spend their time doing a full hunt-and-find session, really testing out their concealment skills.
