The latest training for Duke of Edinburgh, the students was learning about the country code and practising the safest way to travel when walking in the countryside.

They had to practise in their groups how to cross the roads, as a group and as individuals whilst still working as a team to ensure that everyone stays safe. The previous week they practised first aid, and discussed what injuries could occur when they are out on their expedition and what is required in their first aid kits. This week they are having an introduction to OS Maps, and the importance of reading these correctly.
