Lt Clark represented the school's CCF as she was invited last night to play at the lighting of the beacon in Hastings in recognition of the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

The event was very poignant, and the weather meant it was well attended. Hastings Borough Bonfire Society kindly arranged the event which was also attended by the Deputy Mayor Cllr Davide Whitehill who read out the National Declaration.
