Cadets from Ark Alexandra Academy have received special recognition from bestselling author, adventurer, television personality and Army veteran Jordan Wylie MBE, who recently sent a personal video message celebrating their achievements and commitment.
The message was shared with the academy's cadet force and highlighted the positive impact that cadet programmes have on young people, developing leadership, resilience, teamwork and a sense of service to others.
Ark Alexandra's cadets have enjoyed another exceptional year, taking part in a wide range of activities including fundraising initiatives, community events, fieldcraft training, ceremonial occasions, expeditions and charitable projects. Their dedication has earned recognition both locally and nationally, including significant fundraising success for veterans' charity Combat Stress.
The video message from Jordan Wylie serves as further recognition of the hard work, commitment and positive attitude consistently demonstrated by the cadets. His words of encouragement provided an inspiring reminder of the opportunities available through the cadet experience and the importance of challenging yourself, supporting others and striving to achieve your goals.
The academy's cadet force continues to go from strength to strength, providing students with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, leadership skills and lifelong friendships.
Staff praised the cadets for the way they represent both the school and the wider community, noting that their achievements are a credit to themselves, their families and the cadet movement.
The academy would like to thank Jordan Wylie for taking the time to record and share the message, which was greatly appreciated by all those involved.
