The weather was great and so were the ground conditions which made a change from the normal rain and muddy walking conditions of previous years. The cadets looked really smart in their cadet uniforms and bright orange Combat Stress t-shirts. We walked around Bewl Reservoir in Lamberhurst and although they challenge was to walk 10 miles the cadets actually completed 13 miles on the day.
When we finished we checked the fundraising page to find that we had raised £13, 447. We are not only the top fundraising team this year, but also the top organisation and had the number one individual fundraiser nationally. This was a truly remarkable achievement when you consider there were over 200 teams and 4,371 people involved in raising money for the charity in this event.
We would like to thank all those that supported us this year.
