They drew their parts using a 2D CAD program and then laser cut them so they were precise. Students then had to use a former to mould their acrylic plastic around to ensure that the shape was accurately formed. They drilled a hole using a cordless drill for the mechanism and carefully glued their details on. Students also included vinyl details to enhance their design.
Some very creative work was produced. Well done year 8!
