Ark Alexandra Academy student Esme has enjoyed exceptional success at this year’s Hastings Musical Festival, returning home with an impressive collection of awards across multiple performance categories.
Esme delivered a series of outstanding performances, demonstrating remarkable versatility across speech, drama, mime, and musical theatre. Her achievements include Gold awards in Reading Prose at Sight, Speech Sonnet, Mime Solo, and Early 20th Century Musical Theatre Song, as well as a Bronze Medal in Speech Class.
She also achieved Silver in Dramatic Duologue alongside a friend, and Bronze awards in Classical Singing Solo, Humorous Song, and Verse & Song, showcasing her ability across a wide range of performance styles.
Esme’s success was further recognised at the festival prize-giving ceremony, where she was awarded the highest mark trophy for Mime Solo, a significant accolade highlighting her exceptional talent and expressive performance skills.
Her achievements reflect not only her natural ability but also her dedication, confidence, and passion for the performing arts.
