Ark Alexandra Academy’s Year 9 boys’ football team are celebrating an outstanding run of results after finishing their league fixtures undefeated and securing a place in the league final.
The team enjoyed a particularly successful couple of days of football. On Friday, they delivered an impressive 6–1 victory against St Leonards Academy, showcasing strong attacking play and excellent teamwork.
They followed this up this afternoon with a thrilling 6–5 win against Buckswood, in what proved to be a high-scoring and dramatic match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
Earlier in the season, the team also secured a 2–1 win against St Richard’s, setting the tone for what has been a remarkable league campaign.
Throughout the season, the players have demonstrated determination, skill and resilience, supporting each other and representing the school with pride. Their unbeaten record reflects not only their talent on the pitch but also their commitment and teamwork.
With the league fixtures now complete, the team eagerly awaits confirmation of their opponents for the league final, where they will hope to continue their impressive form and finish the season on a high.
