Ark Alexandra U13 mixed cricket team travelled to Hailsham Community College where they took part in their first indoor cricket competition.
This Wednesday saw the second training day for the Ark Basketball Scholars. Stan had another tough, but great day at the Thunderdome in London and can’t wait for the next one.
This week at cadets, we had our older cadets take the lead in some indoor team work activities. They had to ensure that they lead well from the front, and ensured that all cadets were able to take part within the tasks.
We are delighted to report on the success of our trip to ARK Hackathon 2024, where seven of our Year 10 Computer Science students represented our school exceptionally well.
It’s that wonderful time of year, and our year 7 students were treated to an assembly covering the meaning of advent as well as switching on the Christmas tree lights in celebration of the season to come.
We are blessed to have such beautiful views, and last week’s Photography Club were tasked with capturing the ever changing sky of the setting sun.
At cadets this week, our newest recruits were tested on their first aid skills. They each had to show they were able to put someone into the recovery position, and able to show they knew how to do CPR and also show their bandaging skills and slings.
This week our Year 7 Netball Team travel to Claverham Community College to play in their Hastings and Rother area netball tournament.
Our talented singers, dancers, musicians and caterers entertained and served our distinguished guests from care and nursing homes in and around Hastings.
Nine Ark Alexandra pupils travelled to Ark Academy in Wembley to take part in the first session of the Ark Scholars Football Programme.

The Year 7 Disco is now underway, and the party has started with lots of food, music, dancing, lights and fun. The students have worked extremely hard this term and it’s well deserved.
